Service: one-to-one coaching

The Leader's Coach

One-to-one coaching for sales leaders.

A salesperson who improves moves one quota, but a leader who coaches well moves every quota on the team. That makes the leader the highest-leverage person in the company to develop, and the one nobody develops. Almost all of them were promoted for selling; almost none were ever taught to coach. Everyone else gives them a book or enrols them into a course. We coach them inside the week they already have.

Serving companies across the United States and Canada.

How it works

Coaching inside the week you already have

One 60-minute working session a week, on your reps and your deals. A digest between sessions for the questions that come up. Once a month we run your numbers and hand back something you keep: the rubric, the tracker, the plan. Training teaches your reps; courses teach theory. This builds the one skill that compounds: your ability to coach the people carrying the number.

One sales manager’s results

The situation

Almost every sales manager was promoted for selling, and almost none was taught to coach. The manager in this case ran a team of about twenty reps at a national IT provider, selling into small and mid-sized accounts, and had been given the usual help: a book, a course, and a quota.

An hour a week with Paul on your reps and your deals builds the one skill that compounds, your ability to coach the people carrying the number, inside the week you already have.

What they asked

Campaigns ran on instinct and energy. Meetings got booked, some quarters landed, and nobody could show which parts of the work were responsible. The manager wanted a way of choosing accounts and coaching reps that would show up in the team’s numbers.

What they got

From March 2026, one 60-minute working session a week with Paul, on the manager’s reps and deals. By the summer the manager was running the team to one standard: every claim specific enough to be provably wrong, every test with its pass and fail lines written before the results exist, and every rep on one plan with a dated next step and a prediction the manager can test. By September the manager was designing and running the tests, with Paul reviewing. What that standard produced:

  • Reps working an AI-built scoring model’s picks booked 40% more meetings than reps working instinct’s picks, same campaign, same window: 22 more meetings from a single two-touch campaign.
  • One coached rep went from 68% to 144% of his profit target in three months, and finished the quarter with the best order margin on the team.
  • Seven reps were coached that quarter. The three who reached their coaching goal by the end of it grew both their revenue and their profit against target. The four who had not yet reached theirs did not grow profit.
  • The team ran four straight months above target, 123% of goal in July. The team’s number belongs to the team; what this engagement claims is the standard behind it.

In the manager’s words

“The way in which my team is set up and the way in which I’m approaching work is just night and day.”
